EEO Report 2007-2008

Since February 1, 2007, WFCA has hired one full time employees. This employee had completed the WFCA Student Training program and completed four years in Broadcasting at Mississippi State University. He began working full time in September 2007.

During the reporting period, WFCA has conducted the following broad outreach initiatives in accordance with various elements of FCC Rule 73.2080(c) (2):

Scholarship program: WFCA has an in house scholarship program which

Is given to our graduating seniors who have trained and

worked a WFCA. The station had no seniors who

trained and worked during the 2007 school year and

received a scholarship in May of 2007.

Training program: WFCA trains its students who desire to learn each aspect

of broadcasting. Since February 1, 2007 WFCA has had

4 students in its training program. Each student was

trained in the areas of production and in on air. WFCA

is actively recruiting new students at the time of this

report.

Mentoring program: WFCA has one full time employee who is a mentor to

our trainees by instruction, training and encouraging

them. Two students have been in the mentoring

program since February 1, 2007.

Management level training WFCA management personnel attend seminars at in

on EEO and discrimination dustry conferences to obtain training on EEO

prevention: and discrimination prevention. In May 2007, the

General Manager, Sales Manager and Office manager

attended sessions on EEO and FCC updates at the

MS/LA Association of Broadcasters Conference.

There were no scholarships given in May of 2007. WFCA had no seniors in training and working during the 2007 school year.

Since February 1, 2007 we have trained 4 additional students in the WFCA training program, 1 male student and 3 female student. Each student is trained in the area of production and on air.

Four students have been in the mentor program since since February 1, 2007.
