For the period beginning February 1, 2009 and ending January 31, 2010
Since February 1, 2009, WFCA has hired no full time employee’s.
During the reporting period, WFCA has conducted the following broad outreach initiatives in accordance with various elements of FCC Rule 73.2080 ( c ) ( 2 ):
Scholarship program: WFCA has an in house scholarship program which is offered to our graduating seniors who have trained and worked at WFCA. The station had no seniors to graduate during the reporting period.
Training program: WFCA trains its students who desire to learn each aspect of broadcasting. Since February 1, 2009 through January 31, 2010, WFCA has had 5 students in its training program. Each students was trained in the area of production and in on air
Mentoring program: WFCA has one full time employee who is a mentor to our trainees by instruction, training and encouraging them. Five students have been in the mentoring program since February 1, 2009.
Management level: WFCA management personnel attended seminars in industry training on EEO conferences to obtain training on EEO and discrimination and discrimination prevention.
There were no scholarships given in May of 2009. WFCA had no senior in training to graduate during the reporting period.
Since February 1, 2009 through January 31, 2010, WFCA has had five students in the training program.
Five students were in the mentor program from February 1, 2009 through January 31, 2010.
